Nightlife on St. George Island

Florida’s Forgotten Coast may be a laid-back destination, but that doesn’t mean we hit the hay as soon as the sun goes down! In fact, Franklin County is home to a thriving nightlife scene booming with open-late bars, restaurants and live music venues.

If you’re a night owl visiting the Forgotten Coast, the options are endless: Swing by one of our late-night venues to enjoy fabulous live music, from rock and jazz to reggae and salsa. Sip a signature cocktail in a local lounge, down a couple of pints at a pet-friendly brewery or party the night away at a waterfront bar.

Whether you’re planning a girls’ night out, a romantic evening for two, or a nighttime celebration with friends and family, the Forgotten Coast serves up something for everyone. Keep reading to check out the bars, venues and late-night eateries scattered across Apalachicola, Carrabelle, St. George Island and Eastpoint.

Apalach After Dark

Apalachicola is home to an array of awesome late-night restaurants, bars and venues. Visit The Tap Room in downtown Apalach to enjoy unique cuisine, throw back a few local brews or sip fine wine and hand-crafted cocktails from the full bar.

Ready to dance the night away? Make your way to The Apalachicola Ice Company, the town’s newest live music venue, serving up draft beers and affordable wine in a pet-friendly beer garden.

Want to taste some local brews? Check out Apalachicola’s pet-friendly Oyster City Brewing Company. Offering unique craft beers like Apalach IPA, Hooter Brown Tupelo Honey Ale and Mill Pond Dirty Blonde Ale, OCBC brews up delicious craft beer seven days a week.

To experience a local nightlife favorite, stop by Bowery’s Station in historic Apalach. This eclectic little beer and wine bar is pet-friendly and features great music and open mic nights.

Have a late-night craving for plump oysters on the half shell? Swing by Half Shell Dockside, Apalachicola’s newest restaurant! Open late, Half Shell Dockside boasts a full bar, a delicious menu highlighting fresh, local seafood and live entertainment.
