Located in the heart of historic downtown Apalachicola, the beautifully restored Fort Coombs Armory offers a one-of-a-kind setting for weddings, receptions, celebrations, and special events.

Built in 1901, the Armory is one of Apalachicola’s most distinctive historic landmarks. Inside, soaring ceilings, original architectural details, and beautifully refinished hardwood floors create an impressive backdrop with plenty of character. The spacious main floor accommodates up to 200 guests, with ample room for dining, dancing, and gathering.

The venue also features a full prep kitchen with refrigerators, ovens, warmers, and an ice machine, along with on-site restroom facilities, making it well-suited for catered events and larger celebrations.

Located at 66 4th Street in Apalachicola, the Fort Coombs Armory places guests just blocks from the city’s historic downtown, restaurants, shops, and waterfront.

The Fort Coombs Armory is managed by the Franklin County Parks & Recreation Department. Reservations and additional rental information are available through the Armory’s online reservation system.
