The Adventures of Annabelle Lyn

Sunday, January 12, 3-5 pm @ Cat Pointe Music
If you’re a fan of folk, you must hear this amazing female trio! Based out of Tallahassee, The Adventures of Annabelle Lyn showcases heartbreaking original songs, sweet vocal harmonies, moving instrumental solos and crowd-pleasing acoustic covers. Lopez Tabor Duo: INConcert Series

Sunday, January 12, 4-5 pm @ Trinity Episcopal Church in Apalachicola
The Isle Newell Fund for the Performing Arts INConcert Series kicks off the new year with a powerful performance from Lopez Tabor Duo. This outstanding violin and piano duo will present majestic tunes from Europe and South America. Alfonso Lopez is one of the most prominent musicians in Venezuela and has been nominated twice for the Latin Grammy award. Michell Tabor has performed piano recitals around the world. These two talented artists have been performing together for 15 years. A reception will be held at Trinity’s Benedict Hall after the concert.

The FAMU Jazz Quartet: INConcert Series

Friday, January 17, 8-9 pm @ Rio Carrabelle
Enjoy a sizzling performance of jazz standards, blues and bebop tunes by one of the leading collegiate jazz ensembles in the country. The FAMU Jazz Quartet will light up the stage at Rio Carrabelle on January 17th. Make your reservations online at riocarrabelle.com.

Shaken and Stirred

Sunday, January 19, 3-5 pm @ Cat Point Music
Shaken and Stirred is back by popular demand!  Consisting of Randy Mims and Carol Harris, this immensely talented duo serves up a vast repertoire of unique sounds and songs guaranteed to satisfy all musical tastes. Tickets are $15.

Tocamos Mas: INConcert Series

Saturday, January 25, 8-9 pm @ Rio Carrabelle
This INConcert Series event by Tocamos Mas is certain to chase away your winter blues! South of the Border meets the Forgotten Coast in this unforgettable concert of traditional Latin and Cuban music. The show will feature mambo, merengue, bolero, and cha-cha tunes. Riely OConner & Molly B. Moon

Sunday, January 26, 3-5 pm @ Cat Pointe Music
On Sunday, January 26th, Riely OConnor & Molly B. Moon will bring their musical magic to Cat Pointe Music in Eastpoint. These talented singer-songwriters will perform an array of category-defying original songs, from moving ballads to swinging blues. All of their tunes showcase powerful lyrics and beautiful melodies. Benjamin Sung & David Kalhous: INConcert Series

Sunday, January 26, 4-5 pm @ Trinity Episcopal Church in Apalachicola
In this memorable musical event, Benjamin Sung & David Kalhous will perform the Beethoven Sonatas No. 4 and No. 5.  This gifted classical music duo consists of violinist Sung and pianist Kalhous. Sung is an Associate Professor of violin at Florida State University and the violin coordinator at the Brevard Music Center. Kalhous, who lives in New York City, performs extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe and holds a Doctor of Music from Northwestern University. A reception at Trinity’s Benedict Hall will be held after the concert.

American Pie Revisited

Friday, January 31, 8-10 pm @ Dixie Theatre
Don’t miss American Pie Revisited at Apalachicola’s historic Dixie Theatre! Starring acclaimed singer and guitarist John Reno, this interactive, multimedia performance celebrates the songs and pop culture of the late 60s and early 70s. The show features both iconic photographs and videos of bygone days along with musical favorites and crowd-pleasing sing along tunes. This exciting performance will showcase tunes by Don McLean, James Taylor, Paul Simon and many more.
