Ilse Newell Fund for the Performing Arts Presents A Tribute to New Orleans Music Featuring the Leon Anderson Jazz Ensemble

Ilse Newell Fund for the Performing Arts presents A Tribute to New Orleans Music featuring the Leon Anderson Jazz Ensemble on February 6, 2022, at 4 P.M. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Apalachicola.  Admission is $10 per person and there will be social distance seating.

Jazz percussionist Leon Anderson has put together an ensemble of outstanding musicians including Scotty Barnhardt on trumpet, Joe Goldberg on clarinet/sax/flute, Bill Peterson at the piano, and Rodney Jordan on bass. Together they’ll perform a tribute to New Orleans jazz music that honors jazz pioneers such as Louis Armstrong, King Oliver, Sidney Bechet, and Ellis Marsalis.
