Fall Program Series With Fun Story Time
October 8 @ 3:30 pm
The Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries (FFCPL) invite families from across the region to kick off the Fall Program Series with fun Story Time events at the Carrabelle Branch Library. This special program is scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, at 3:30 PM, at the Carrabelle Branch, 311 St. James Avenue (Hwy 98), Carrabelle, FL. Best of all, all library programs are free and open to the public, with no registration or library card required!
The Carrabelle Story Time event will feature the wonderful children’s book “Ghost Afraid of the Dark” by Sara Conway. This story follows Boo, a shy little ghost, as he celebrates his first Halloween with his monster friends. Throughout the adventure, Boo faces his fears and learns to be brave in this charming and spooky tale. After the book is read, guests will make themed crafts: ghost lanterns with glow sticks. The program will be filled with engaging storytelling and crafts, providing a time of fun that will ignite a love for reading in young minds. The whole family is invited to participate in the activities, which are designed to build pre-reading skills and encourage social interaction in an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere. This event is best suited for those 2-6 years old.
This event is just one of many in the Fall Program Series sponsored by the FFCPL. In addition to the Story Time event, both the Eastpoint and Carrabelle branches of the Franklin County Public Libraries will be bustling with activities for children and adults alike for this series.
