Scipio Creek Boat Basin

Known locally as the Mill Pond, Scipio Creek Boat Basin has been part of Apalachicola’s working waterfront for generations. Once the site of a sawmill where timber floated downriver for processing, the basin is now home to commercial fishing vessels that carry on the city’s maritime traditions. A public boat ramp provides access to the water, while the waterfront grounds also host community activities.
