The Carrabelle History Museum’s mission is to preserve the history of Carrabelle for the inspiration of the future. The museum has 4 rooms to display its collections: The Carrabelle Treasures room features items and photographs of the people, places and events important to the people and City of Carrabelle, the Work Life room is filled with artifacts and photos of various industries such as seafood, logging, naval stores, mechanics and gas stations that have supported the economy of Carrabelle through the years. The third room, Family Life features many photos of Carrabelle families and artifacts. The highlights of this room is the photos of families from the pioneer days to the present. The last room is Library Room, filled with old photos, books, scrapbooks, newspapers about Carrabelle and Carrabelle school yearbooks dating from the 1940s.

The museum hosts regular events and talks about the culture, lifestyle and history of the Carrabelle area. Hours vary by season.
