Battery Park

Located beneath the John Gorrie Bridge at the entrance to Apalachicola, Battery Park is not only a greatly frequented boat ramp but also the site of the annual Florida Seafood Festival.  The locals call the boat ramp “10-Foot Hole.”  Funds raised by the Florida Seafood Festival paid for the extensive boat docks in the adjoining City Marina area.  This park features a community center, boat launch ramps, fishing piers, and children’s play equipment.
