Mark your calendar for Saturday, February 7, 2026, and head to St. George Island for the 5th Annual SGI ShrimpFest, a delicious and fun-filled day celebrating Gulf shrimp, local culture, and the laid-back lifestyle of Florida’s Forgotten Coast.

Enjoy Fresh Gulf Shrimp and Local Seafood

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., festival-goers can savor Gulf shrimp prepared in a variety of ways, along with other local seafood favorites. Food vendors and local restaurants will offer everything from fried shrimp baskets to shrimp po’boys, along with refreshing drinks and coastal eats.

Experience Family-Friendly Fun on St. George Island

In addition to amazing food, the event features live music, artisan booths, and a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere. Kids and leashed pets are welcome, making it the perfect weekend outing for all ages. Browse local art, pick up coastal souvenirs, and enjoy the scenic surroundings near the Cape St. George Lighthouse.
