SUMMARY:3rd Annual Airing of the Quilts
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy this FREE outdoor quilt show featuring new and vintage quilts displayed on the fencing and throughout the park. Unique handmade items will be for sale in the Pavilion. Quilts for sale will have a yellow tag. Come to browse\, buy\, or enjoy a demonstration. \nThere will also be a quilt raffle with proceeds benefitting Friends of Franklin County Public Libraries. This non-profit organization relies on membership dues and donations to support the many programs offered at the Eastpoint and Carrabelle libraries.  These free programs are open to the public and include after school\, crafts for youth and adult\, STEM\, grounds improvements\, scholarship(s) and so much more. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Drawing will be held at 2:30. Do not have to be present to win! \nGeorge Sands Park is located on Highway 98 on the east end of Carrabelle. A kiddie park will occupy the kids. Picnic tables and restrooms on site. This is a City of Carrabelle park and dogs are not allowed. \nPresented by members of Lanark Village Wandering Star Quilters

DESCRIPTION:The Lanark Village Wandering Stars Quilters will hold their 2nd annual Airing of The Quilts on Saturday\, April 26\, 2024: The free admission quilt show will be held at George Sands Park in Carrabelle\, from 9 AM to 3 PM\, with handmade quilts and more. There will be a “Makers Boutique” in the pavilion\, with lots of additional handmade items available for sale. Quilts available for purchase will be so designated on the identifying tags attached to each quilt.
