From thrift-store worthy scores to high-end antiques\, all are invited to bring their much loved treasures to the market to find them a new home. The market welcomes a diversity of products such as home décor\, furniture\, vintage jewelry\, music\, antiques\, tools\, ceramics and kitchenware\, books\, art\, toys\, and gently used clothing. Items just need to be clean and in good condition. \nThe open-air Country Market will\, as always\, feature local vendors with gifts and goodies like farm fresh produce\, grass fed beef\, delicious baked goods including cinnamon rolls\, artisan breads\, and cookies\, plus batch roasted coffee\, gorgeous art\, handcrafted balms and soaps\, and handmade goods and craft items. \nGuests can also visit the free Keeper’s House Museum to see the brand new exhibit featuring the historic Fresnel lens and browse inside the Lighthouse Gift Shop for unique\, nautical-themed art\, jewelry and souvenirs. SUMMARY:November Full Moon Climb at Crooked River Lighthouse
DESCRIPTION:The Crooked River Lighthouse will be hosting a fun Full Moon Event on Monday\, November 27\, from 6:00-8:00 pm in Carrabelle\, FL. Visitors can enjoy the gorgeous natural surroundings of St. George Sound and Carrabelle Beach under the glow of the full Beaver Moon. \nAt this month’s Full Moon event\, the Crooked River Lighthouse will have a gifted musical group\, The Bog Lilies. The Bog Lilies are a talented group of performers who focus on vocal harmonies mixed with a unique blend of instruments including banjo\, mandolin\, acoustic guitar\, electric guitar\, and cajone (a wood percussion instrument). They cover songs in folk\, bluegrass\, country\, and southern rock genres. \nVisitors can also have an after-hours visit in the Keeper’s House Museum and see the exhibit for the lighthouse’s original\, historic Fresnel lens. A Train Stop food truck will be set up with delicious food for purchase. Guests may also enjoy the glowing bonfire in the park (weather permitting). Bring a chair and enjoy the evening. Recommended donation for this event is $5 to support the lighthouse and help offset the additional costs for these after-hours events and can be made either via online or at “the gate”. \nAt the Full Moon event\, evening climbs are also available for those brave souls who are bold enough to venture to the top of the tallest Forgotten Coast lighthouse. Climbers will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the bay. Evening climbs cost $10. All climbers must be at least 44 inches tall. There will be a time limit for viewing from the top. Timed tower climb tickets are required for those who wish to climb the lighthouse tower during this event. Timed tickets are available online or by dropping by our gift shop. Advance ticket purchase is strongly suggested as slots may sell out.

SUMMARY:Jellyfish Lantern-Making Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Crooked River Lighthouse will once again be offering one of their very popular lantern-making workshops. This one on Saturday\, November 11 from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Lanark Village Boat Club\, 2364 Hwy 98 E\, Lanark\, FL. Wonderful volunteer\, Lisa Keith-Lucas\, will guide attendees in making the very popular Jellyfish Lanterns! These enchanting lanterns are highly admired at Lantern Fest and are fairly easy to make. Reservations are required! \nBasic materials (colorful plastic bowls\, bubble wrap\, sheer fabrics and fairy lights)\, instruction and hands on help will be provided at the workshop. Attendees are invited to bring any additional materials they may like to really personalize their creations! Cost is $10 a person to cover the cost of materials. Participants will be able to explore their creative side and personalize their lantern to make it uniquely their own. Participants are encouraged to bring their glowing creation to the Crooked River Lighthouse for Lantern Fest that evening from 6-10 pm to add to the awesome display. \nSpaces are limited to a maximum of 20 attendees. Reservations are required to participate in this workshop. DESCRIPTION:The Crooked River Lighthouse will be hosting a fun Halloween-themed celebration at the Full Moon Event on Saturday\, October 28\, from 6:00-8:00 pm in Carrabelle\, FL. Visitors can enjoy the gorgeous natural surroundings of St. George Sound and Carrabelle Beach under the glow of the full Hunter’s Moon. Guests are welcome to come dressed up in their favorite costume (pirates and coastal themed costumes are especially encouraged). Candy will be given out and prizes for the top costumes will be awarded. \nVisitors can experience a fun performance by the Forgotten Coast Dancing Witches\, a group of local ladies who dress up\, dance\, and raise money for local animal shelters. Guests can also enjoy an after-hours visit to the Keeper’s House Museum and see the exhibit for the lighthouse’s original\, historic Fresnel lens. Attendees may also enjoy the glowing bonfire in the park (weather permitting). There will be delicious all-beef\, grilled hot dogs with the fixings by Don’s Dogs available for purchase. Bring a chair and enjoy the evening. Those who would like to help offset the additional costs for this after-hours event and support the lighthouse are welcome to make a donation online or at “the gate”. \nAt the Full Moon event\, evening climbs are also available for those brave souls who are bold enough to venture to the top of the tallest Forgotten Coast lighthouse. Climbers will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the bay. Evening climbs cost $10. All climbers must be at least 44 inches tall. There will be a time limit for viewing from the top. SUMMARY:Drum Ceremony and Full Moon Event at Crooked River Lighthouse
DESCRIPTION:The Crooked River Lighthouse will be hosting a Full Moon Event and Sacred Drum Ceremony on Friday\, September 29\, from 8-10 pm in Carrabelle\, FL. Visitors can enjoy this opportunity to see the gorgeous natural surroundings of the St. George Sound and Carrabelle Beach under the glow of the full Harvest Moon or Corn Moon. Paul Eagleheart McGee from the Lipan Apache Tribe will be conducting a Native American drum ceremony during the event. \nIn honor of the Harvest or Corn Moon\, the lighthouse will be hosting an informal drumming circle during this event. Anyone that has a drum is welcome to bring it and join in. The Harvest Moon is the full moon nearest the start of fall or the autumnal equinox. This full moon name is attributed to Native Americans because it marked when corn and other crops were harvested. \nIn addition to the informal drum circle\, Paul Eagleheart McGee from the Lipan Apache Tribe of Texas will be joining this event. He will be doing a sacred\, Native American drum ceremony in honor of the full moon. Paul Eagleheart McGee has done many ceremonies for causes including protection of sacred sites. He will begin the ceremony with a prayer song and will be explaining several Native American traditions. \nVisitors can also have an after-hours visit of the Keeper’s House Museum and see the new exhibit for the lighthouse’s original\, historic Fresnel lens. Guests may also enjoy the glowing bonfire in the park (weather permitting). Bring a chair and enjoy the evening. Recommended donation for this event is $5 to support the lighthouse and help offset the additional costs for these after-hours events and can be made either online or at “the gate”. \nWhile at the Full Moon event\, evening climbs are also available for those brave souls who are bold enough to venture to the top of the tallest Forgotten Coast lighthouse. Climbers will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the bay. Evening climbs cost $10 for adults (age 13+)\, $5 for youth (6-12 yrs) and are free for those 5 and under. Advance ticket purchase is strongly suggested as these tickets may sell out. \nA limited number of climbers (max of 8) are allowed at one time. There will be a time limit for viewing from the top. Guests who would like a more leisurely climbing experience are welcome to enjoy one of the daytime climbs available every Wednesday through Sunday. Masks are welcome but not required.

DESCRIPTION:In celebration of the 2023 Fall Equinox the Crooked River Lighthouse in Carrabelle is hosting a Sound Bath from 7:00 pm-8:30 pm on Saturday\, September 23. A sound bath explores the powerful vibrations of harmonic tones as a source of healing.  This uniquely beautiful\, meditative session will be presented by The Gong Experience gongliers (gong players) Sahadev and Kasimira. There is no cost for this event\, but gratuities are warmly welcomed. Feel free to bring a chair and sit\, watch\, listen\, feel and experience this meditative event. \nFor those who have never heard a gong actually played to its full potential\, they will be awestruck! DESCRIPTION:The Crooked River Lighthouse will be hosting a Blue Moon Lighthouse Event on Wednesday\, August 30th from 8:00-10:00 pm in Carrabelle\, FL. Visitors can enjoy this opportunity to see the gorgeous natural surroundings of the St. George Sound and Carrabelle Beach under the glow of the rising Blue moon. \nWhile at Carrabelle’s lighthouse\, guests can also have an after-hours visit of the Keeper’s House Museum and see the new exhibit for the lighthouse’s original\, historic Fresnel lens. Visitors can browse the unique nautical gifts and souvenirs in the gift shop. Guests may also enjoy the glowing bonfire in the park (weather permitting). Bring a chair and enjoy the evening. \nThe climb to the top of the tallest Forgotten Coast lighthouse rewards bold climbers with breathtaking views of the bay. Cost is $8 for adults and $3 for kids. All climbers must be at least 44 inches tall. Advance reservations are required for those who wish to climb the lighthouse tower during this event by calling the Lighthouse gift shop. \nA limited number of climbers (max of 7) are allowed at one time. There will be a time limit for viewing from the top. Guests who would like a more leisurely climbing experience are welcome to enjoy one of the daytime climbs available every Wednesday through Sunday.
