Visitors can also enjoy the glowing fire pit (weather permitting). Bring a chair and enjoy the evening. \nThe climb to the top of the tallest Forgotten Coast lighthouse rewards bold climbers with breathtaking views of the bay. Cost for this month’s event is $5 for adults and $3 for kids. All climbers must be at least 44 inches tall. Advance reservations are required for those who wish to climb the lighthouse tower during this event by calling the Lighthouse gift shop. \nA limited number of climbers (max of 7) are allowed at one time. There will be a time limit for viewing from the top. Guests who would like a more leisurely climbing experience are welcome to enjoy one of the daytime climbs available every Wednesday through Sunday. This lively acoustic guitar duo plays a wide range of upbeat\, toe-tapping tunes spanning musical styles from reggae\, folk\, jazz\, rock\, blues as well as a few originals. \nGuests can also visit the free Museum and browse inside the Lighthouse Gift Shop for unique nautical gifts and souvenirs. This special outdoor event will feature a delicious low country boil (served from 6:00-8:00 pm) followed by live music (8:00-10:00 pm). Visitors can enjoy this opportunity to see the gorgeous natural surroundings of St. George Sound and Carrabelle Beach under the gorgeous evening sky. Admission for this special Full Moon event is $15 for adults / $8 for children (6-16) and must be purchased in advance. (Climbs are not included in this price at this special full moon event.) \nLive music will be provided by the Rio Jazz Trio playing Blues\, Ballads\, Bebop\, and Bossanova. Guests can also visit the Museum and browse inside the Lighthouse Gift Shop for unique nautical gifts and souvenirs. Visitors can also relax next to the warm bonfire at the large fire pit (weather permitting). Bring a chair and enjoy the evening. \nFor this month’s special event\, admission must be purchased in advance. DESCRIPTION:The Crooked River Lighthouse will be hosting a special Blues & BBQ Full Moon Lighthouse event on Sunday\, December 19\, 2021\, from 5-8 pm in Carrabelle\, FL. This special outdoor event will feature live Blues music\, a glowing fire pit\, and delicious BBQ.  Visitors can enjoy this opportunity to see the gorgeous natural surroundings of the St. George Sound and Carrabelle Beach under the evening sky. Live music will be provided by the Musical duo\, “Blues Meets Girl”. Bring a chair and enjoy the evening. The museum and gift shop will be open for browsing and shopping. Admission for this special Full Moon event is $10 per person. (Climbs are not included in this price.) \nBlues Meets Girl is a collaboration of British Blues veteran Mr. Downchild and Texas-born singer/songwriter Kasimira. Together they weave their influences and experiences creating Down Home\, Smokin’ Sexy Blues.  Plus a delicious BBQ vendor will be on hand with pulled pork sandwiches\, baked beans\, and coleslaw. \nFor this month’s special event\, admission must be purchased in advance. Admission cost is $10 per person and includes live music\, fire pit\, delicious BBQ\, and museum access. Admission can be paid online at https://www.crookedriverlighthouse.com/category/programs-events/ or in the Crooked River Lighthouse Gift Shop. \nIn addition\, some guests may also choose to enjoy evening tower climbs. The climb to the top of the tallest lighthouse on the Forgotten Coast rewards climbers with breathtaking views of the bay. Climbers must be 44” tall. A climb timeslot reservation is required and can be made by calling 850-697-2732. Climbers will pay the climbing fee (adult $5\, child $3) in the gift shop during the event. \nA limited number of climbers (max of 7) are allowed at one time. There will be a time limit for viewing from the top.  Guests who would like a more leisurely climbing experience are welcome to enjoy one of the daytime climbs available every Wednesday through Sunday. Vendors (new and returning) are welcome to bring their much-loved treasures to the market to find them a new home. DESCRIPTION:The Crooked River Lighthouse will be hosting a Full Moon Lighthouse Climb on Sunday\, August 22\, from 7:00-10:00 pm in Carrabelle\, FL. Visitors can enjoy this opportunity to see the gorgeous natural surroundings of the St. George Sound and Carrabelle Beach under the evening sky.  \nThe climb to the top of the tallest Forgotten Coast lighthouse rewards bold climbers with breathtaking views of the bay. The cost is $8 for adults and $3 for kids. All climbers must be 44 inches tall. Due to the popularity of the Full Moon Climbs\, advance reservations are required for those who wish to climb the lighthouse tower during this event. Call 850-697-2732. \nA limited number of climbers (max of 7) are allowed at one time\, and there will be a time limit for viewing from the top. Guests who would like a more leisurely climbing experience are welcome to enjoy one of the daytime climbs available every Wednesday through Sunday. \nThe Crooked River Lighthouse is located in Carrabelle\, just west of the Carrabelle Public Beach Park at 1975 Hwy 98 W.
