DESCRIPTION:The 11th Annual Apalachicola Mardi Gras Barkus Parade Saturday\, February 26\, 2022\, 11am – 4pm Riverfront Park\, Apalachicola\, Florida. \nThis year’s theme is: Pirates of Oyster City…  and we expect our guests\, who come from all over\, will be excited by this choice that reflects our local coastal character. Come join us in celebrating all the fun of Mardi Gras with dogs! \nThe festivities will start at 11:00 am at Riverfront Park with live entertainment\, local food vendors\, and a variety of arts and craft vendors to enjoy while strolling through the park. The parade of costumed dogs and their people\, decorated golf carts\, and boats begins at 1:00. \nThe King and Queen of Apalachicola’s Mardi Gras parade are always sheltered animals who are ready for a forever home.
