The Rockulla Performers are made up of a variety of young talent that will be playing guitar and ukulele as well as singing an assortment of songs including some classic country tunes\, timeless oldies\, and more. \nVisitors can enjoy an after-hours tour of the Keeper’s House Museum and see the exhibit of the lighthouse’s original\, historic Fresnel lens constructed in 1894 in Paris\, France. Guests can browse the unique nautical gifts and souvenirs in the gift shop. Visitors may also enjoy the glowing bonfire in the park (weather permitting). Bring a chair and enjoy the evening. \n“June’s full Moon has traditionally been called the Strawberry Moon by Native American Algonquian tribes that live in the northeastern United States as well as the Ojibwe\, Dakota\, and Lakota peoples to mark the ripening of “June-bearing” strawberries that are ready to be gathered.” (Credit: Old Farmer’s Almanac) \nFor those brave souls who are bold enough to venture to the top of the tallest lighthouse on the Forgotten Coast\, evening tower climbs are scheduled at 15-minute intervals throughout the event. Climbers will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the bay. Evening climbs cost $10 and climb reservations are encouraged due to limited availability. Climbers must be at least 44 inches tall and children under 12 (FREE) with ticketed adults. Advance tickets are strongly suggested as slots may sell out and can be purchased online or in the lighthouse gift shop. \nPhoto Courtesy of David Zapatka\, USLHS
