On Tuesday, July 3, Historic Apalachicola Main Street will be sponsoring an Independence Day Celebration on Riverfront Park in downtown Apalachicola.  The traditional Red, White and Blue parade will start the festivities at 6:30 pm at Lafayette Park.  Decorate your golf cart, scooter, wagons, car or yourself with the many decorations we have on hand or Bring Your Own!  The parade will end at Riverfront Park with an ice cream social.  Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase and several bands playing music will continue throughout the evening.  At around 9:00pm a professional FIREWORKS DISPLAY will take place over the Apalachicola River at Riverfront Park. Historic Apalachicola Main Street invites everyone to come out and celebrate this wonderful day.
