National Estuaries Day is Friday

It's all about the Bay on Friday, Sept. 23 as the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve celebrates National Estuaries Day at its new Nature Center in Eastpoint. The festivities will run from 1-6:30 p.m. and will feature games and activities such as a beach scavenger hunt, net-making demonstrations and live reptiles on display. There will also be touch tanks featuring local wildlife and door prizes.
